Good for the country

Just this past Friday, I read about something that should tell this country who is really using the power that the american people has granted them to further their own agenda and who is actually listening to the people that granted them that power and attempting to do the right thing for this great country of ours.
After doing very little work but before attempting to address the most important issue facing this country currently (the cost of energy), the U.S. House of Representitives voted to go on vacation. A few brave members of the Republican Party decided there should not go on vacation when there is still such a pressing issue facing the american people.
Not only is the price of gas causing very real hardship on the american people. Due to their political aspirations, Nancy Pelosi and her lackies have blocked very real efforts to combat this problem. These Brave Republicans essentially took over the floor of the house and continued to discuss this issue. This was the equivilant to the boston Tea Party. These elected officials were actually staning up for the rights of the american people.
I implore anyone reading this blog to contact the representitive in your district and demand that they actually listen to the american people and open up the supplies of oil that we have!! If your representitive was one of those brave individuals I ask that you contact them and give them all the encouragment you can. If there were more representitives like these this country would not be going through such a dire situation right now. Fllow the lead of these men and make your voices heard. Make them heard loud enough that there can be no mistake. If our elected officials do not do what we out them there to do we will remove them! We as americans must work together to this end. In times of crisis the american people have always had the ability to make our voices heard and goals accomplished. That is one of the many things that make America great. Stand up for your country now it eeds you!
